MC Scrip A.K.A. The African G (Emmanuel Gyadu)

was born and raised, until the age of 15, in Twin City

(Sekondi-Takoradi), Ghana, Gold Coast, West Africa,

and then traveled to America for further education

and development in his music career.

He says:

I cannot picture the world without music.

It is an obsession I’ve had since the age of ten,

and it has been my guidance for living away

from the streets, drugs, and gangs.

Music influences my life and keeps me going.

Scrip has lately been collaborating with different musicians, artists and producers searching for open doors in the music mainstream. His goal is to display the attained skills along with the message carried over-seas from his people, introducing to the rap and hip-hop music a different perspective through non-violent lyrics and an infusion of African rhythms and sounds.

The first Album “Coming Through” is finally out now and ready for sales and shipping. It took more than one year to put it together due to zero financial resources and the tough life everyone involved had to lead every single day, but we pulled it off and proudly.
